Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Fall Fundraiser?

The Fall Fundraiser is an annual parent and guardian event that brings our community together to provide vital support to Hamlin. The event offers daytime activities such as crafts, hiking, and golf, followed by an evening celebration with food, music, and dancing!

We know that not everyone is able to come to an all-day event on a weekday, and encourage you to join us for whatever time you can. To suit your schedule and customize your experience, tickets may be purchased individually for each activity and for the evening party.

Hamlin’s Fall Fundraiser, Spring Fundraiser, and Annual Fund are the Parents Association's three main opportunities to support the school throughout the year.

Contact Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, Lauren Thornhill P'27 at thornhill@hamlin.org for more information on giving to Hamlin.

Who attends the Fall Fundraiser?

All Hamlin parents and guardians are invited to attend this adult-only event!

What does the Fall Fundraiser raise money for?

The Hamlin Parents Association (PA) raises funds each year to support Hamlin’s operating budget, faculty and staff appreciation, and family community-building events. Of this collective effort, $500,000 is gifted annually to Hamlin’s operating budget—helping fund everything from competitive faculty salaries and financial assistance, to academic programs. Your individual support to the Fall and Spring Fundraisers makes this culminating gift possible and our school's caliber of excellence sustainable.

When, where, and what time is this year’s event?

Come move, groove and get creative with us on Friday, September 19 at the Presidio Golf Course. Activities will kick off Thursday, September 18—with details to come—and continue through the evening of September 19.

Is there a theme? What do I wear?

The theme of this year’s Fall Fundraiser is Red and Gold Day…and Night! Our students celebrate Red and Gold Day, and now it’s your turn to join the spirited fun! Red and Gold attire is welcome for both daytime activities and the evening party. Please come dressed in clothes that make you the most comfortable, particularly for any daytime activities that have you moving (jeans are always appropriate for this event). More importantly, we just want you there!

How can I support the Fall Fundraiser?

We invite all Hamlin community members to support the Fall Fundraiser and meet the PA goal with a single, tax-deductible sponsorship contribution at a level that is meaningful to each family. Sponsorship gifts at all sizes will soon be available on our ticketing platform.
